COURSE OVERVIEW

This course is designed to teach you how to taste and describe wines, pair food and wine, and differentiate the classic grape varieties. 

TASTINGS & INSTRUCTION

At the full-day course you’ll be guided through tastings of 14 benchmark wines worth over $700. You’ll learn about the classic grapes, enhanced by video clips from leading winemakers.

CERTIFICATION

At the end of the course there is a 30-question multiple choice exam with a pass mark of 70%. At Cork & Flame, we have a 100% pass rate because we prepare you very well for the exam. Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate which is a formal qualification in wine with international recognition, and a beautiful lapel pin.
